| Description: | The works included the construction of 975 linear meters of earth fill Dyke utilizing 72,000 cm of bulk fill, toe drain and impervious materials, construction of a 16 acre wetland habitat area including a 67,000 cm cut and fill earthworks operation, construction of inter-tidal channels, supply and placing of growing medium to accept 115,000 riparian plants, supply, placing and compacting inter-tidal sands and a pedestrian viewing platform all located 150 m west of the existing Pitt River right bank Dyke, immediately north of Lougheed Hwy. |
